May17 KAL - Chunky Knit Throw BLOCK 4

This block is worked in a basic cable pattern. As always, I have included links to videos throughout the pattern. Happy Knitting!
BLOCK 4
(Cable pattern) – You will need 4 of these blocks.
What You Will Need:
1 x 125g ball of Heirloom Merino Magic Chunky 16ply Yarn
1 x pair 9.00mm knitting needles or size needed to obtain correct gauge.
1 x Cable Needle
Row Counter (optional)
Gauge: 10 stitches x 14 rows over 10cm on 9.00mm needles.
Abbreviations:
K – knit stitch, P – purl stitch, sts – stitches
K2tog – Knit next 2 stitches together, P2tog – Purl next 2 stitches together
M1 – Make 1 stitch (increase) – Lift strand between needles and place on left hand neede. Knit strand through back of loop, twisting it to prevent a hole.
C6B – Slip next 3 stitches to cable needle and hold in back, knit 3 stitches from left hand needle, then knit 3 stitches from cable needle.

Pattern:
Cast on 30 stitches using long tail cast on.
Work 4 rows garter stitch.
Row 5: K6, M1 (make 1 stitch), *K2, M1*, repeat * to * to last 6 stitches, K6. 40 st.
Row 6: K4, P2, K6, P2, K1, P2, K6, P2, K1, P2, K6, P2, K4.
Row 7: K6, P6, K2, P1, K2, P6, K2, P1, K2, P6, K6.
Row 8: K4, P2, K6, P2, K1, P2, K6, P2, K1, P2, K6, P2, K4.
Row 9: K6, P6, K2, P1, K2, P6, K2, P1, K2, P6, K6.
